Flying Trapeze

Half Turn

Intermediate

Jump from the platform holding the trapeze bar with your right hand, palm up, in the middle of the bar, if you turn anti-clockwise. Sweep back and forward, then turn your hips as you release your left hand and regrip with both hands. You can also do a force-out to turn around. Keep your hips and legs forward in a seven position. Sweep back, then forward, and extend over the platform. Hollow, sweep back, and move into a seven. At the peak, turn your shoulders and hips to present your arms for the catch.

Safety

This trick is easier to perform with a twisty belt. It can also be done by having the flyer on the platform stand with their back to the fly bar, attaching the flyer, and then having the flyer turn back in the opposite direction of the turnaround.
