How it’s done

The flyer first does a turn around then, at the back of the swing (board side), the flyer brings their feet to the bar and locks on the bar with their toes and straight legs. Just past bottom, the flyer releases their toe from the bar and breaks backwards with their legs to drive to a handstand on the bar (backwards of a layout but similar dynamics). Just before peak, in the handstand, the flyer releases their hands from the bar and looks towards the catcher. The flyer will catch a bar from the catcher if catching.
