How it’s done
From a swing, on the back end of the swing near the board, the flyer brings their legs under the bar like they would for a whip/pike but instead of staying in a whip, they straighten their body, arching their lower back a bit to position their feet between the cables and their hips by the bar. The flyer locks their arms and shoulders to give themselves more stability to stay in the planche.
