How it’s done
From the pike position, the flyer does a bounce and, on the up bounce, flexes their feet and opens to put their heels near the base's chest. Near the top of the bounce, the base releases the flyer and grabs their lower legs, holding them against their chest and letting them slide controlled until the base is holding the flyer's ankles. The base then extends their arms, letting the flyer down smoothly as the flyer beats back and, on the front swing, sits up and presents their hands for the base. The base throws the flyer's ankles back as they release to re-grab the flyer's hands.
