How it’s done

With the flyer hanging from the ropes behind the base, the base twists to bring their left arm to the far side of the flyer and wraps around their torso as best they can. The flyer then releases the hand on the same side of where the base's arm is which rotates them to the other side and they grab the end of the bar. From there, the flyer can release their other hand on the ropes and hook their arm at 90 degrees on the base's arm (also at 90 degrees). Then the flyer releases their hand on the bar and does an elbow hang on the base to continue the spin which eventually brings them around to be able to present their free hand to the base and move into a hands hang.
