About Hamptons Trapeze Co
Hamptons Trapeze Co calls itself “the only flying trapeze school on the East End.” It’s an outdoor, summer-season school in Bridgehampton that has been teaching flyers of all ages for more than a decade. There’s no weight or fitness requirement, and kids can start flying at age 4. Every class uses harnesses, safety lines, a large trapeze net and trained coaches, so first-timers are in good hands. Disciplines: flying trapeze and corde lisse (aerial rope, new for 2026). Programs: - Open flying trapeze: the most popular class, with up to 10 flyers per session. Sessions run 1–2 hours. - Private flying trapeze: the rig to yourself, for solo flyers, families, friends or birthday parties. Catering can be added. - Corde lisse: structured aerial rope classes covering climbs, inversions and wraps. - Hayground Camp: summer camp kids fly trapeze three days a week and finish with a showcase. Season: May to mid-September. The school also has a new winter location in Chengdu, China. Ages: 4 and up, with no maximum. Flyers 11 and under need a parent or guardian on site.
