Teeterboard

Teeterboard is an acrobatic discipline performed on a large seesaw-like board. One or more artists jump onto the raised end, launching a flyer from the other end high into the air to perform somersaults and twists before landing on the ground, on a mat, on a partner's shoulders, or on top of a human column.

It depends on precise timing, weight, and trust within the team, as the force of each launch comes from the pushers' jump. Teeterboard acts are powerful and spectacular, and are a highlight of many traditional and contemporary circus shows.
