Duo Lyra
Also called Cerceau aérien duo
Duo lyra is a partner aerial discipline in which two artists share a single aerial hoop. The partners sit, stand, hang, and balance on and around the ring and on each other, moving through shared poses, counterbalances, and spins.
It requires strength, flexibility, and body control, along with trust and careful coordination, since every movement changes the balance of the hoop for both artists. Duo lyra is often performed on a larger hoop and can be graceful and expressive or dynamic and acrobatic.
