Nice vibe with different levels of classes. I appreciate that we get started with warm up on the apparatus right away instead of having a bunch of ground warm up as part of class - I still felt plenty warm and ready.

I’ve been going to Aerial Arts (mostly lyra) off and on for a few years, and it’s one of the most supportive environments I’ve been it as it relates to bodies and movement! To be fair, I come from a ballet background, but the body neutrality I’ve experienced here has been really healing and encouraging. There’s always been a focus on what bodies are capable of and a celebration of everybody who achieves or even just tries something new, no matter what level they are. I like some teachers better than others, but I think that will be true anywhere—different people click with different vibes.

I took the beginner Lyra class here while on vacation. Everyone was super sweet and makes you feel very welcome. I got to learn some new tricks that I haven’t learned at other studios and they are very good at accommodating to your skill level. Thank you guys for a great time!!

I took a few beginner classes here several months ago and it was an okay experience overall. I had 3 different instructors and joshua and kristin were very knowledgable and Kristin was especially supportive with pacing and seeing what I could do as I've had some aerial experience before. The third instructor I saw was very dismissive, seemed almost to not believe I had any aerial experience and was a bit impatient with me when I couldn't do some physical things like a full pull up. It made me feel like I shouldnt have even bothed trying, especially as someone who is fatter than pretty much all the other students in the class or that I would see walking around the studio. But in my first two classes I didn't necessarily get that vibe from the other instructors, if anything got decent feedback about my strength and skills. This one even rolled his eyes a couple times if one of us in the class couldnt do what he asked of us in a warm up or the first time he showed it. His attitude was a little drill sargeanty, show it once, "do it again until you do it right" style of instruction which rubbed me the wrong way as it is already a pretty intimidating space to begin with watching all the other higher level classes sharing the space. It can also feel a bit confusing and hectic when there's lots of classes going on at once since its a multi use room. If I lived closer and had more bandwidth I might go back and keep trying out instructors but it just wasn't a good fit for me in my experience which is a shame because I love aerial, especially hammock.

A close friend and I went for a beginner Lyra class last night that was taught by Kate. The front desk was really nice considering we were very nervous to take the class. We were assured we'd be fine. They have limited space so plenty of individual attention. If you do have questions they correspond very fast via email. Loved it here and will be back ASAP.
